Minor delays: Ipswich/Rosewood line

Due to earlier reports a truck struck a overhead bridge between Indooroopilly and Taringa stations, two services are delayed as a consequence:

    The 2.37pm Ipswich-Caboolture train is delayed 15 minutes
    The 3.04pm Bowen Hills-Richlands train is delayed 15 minutes

No further delays are expected.

Delays: Beenleigh/Gold Coast lines

Trains on the Beenleigh line are suspended between Yeerongpilly and Salisbury stations due to reports a truck has hit an overhead bridge at Rocklea.

Services are suspended both directions

Customers can expect delays of up to 30 minutes.

Queensland Rail Bridge Inspectors are enroute.

That failed unit was still there when I caught my train at 7:43am.  No notices for delayed services?

Trains on the Gold Coast and Beenleigh lines are suspended between South Brisbane and Moorooka stations due to a police incident.

Gold Coast, Airport and Beenleigh trains will travel via the Tennyson Loop, missing all stations between South Brisbane and Moorooka.

Buses are being arranged to transport customers between these stations.

Customers should expect delays of up to 30 minutes.

QR has made no comment of which station to avoid. Least they have explained a person was struck by a train.

7:43 ex-FG 7 minutes adrift at Windsor. Guard has been saying since Mitchelton that delays are due to an earlier medical emergency at Gaythorne. Delays began at Oxford Park. Nothing on Translink.

Train delays due to points failure

Customers on the Caboolture, Sunshine Coast, Doomben, Airport and Shorncliffe lines will experience delays of around 60 minutes due to a points failure.

Buses are being arranged, and will run as follows:

    Airport line: buses from Bowen Hills to Domestic Airport
    Caboolture/Sunshine Coast lines: buses from Bowen Hills to Bald Hills, then trains to Caboolture and the Sunshine Coast
    Doomben line: buses from Bowen Hills to Doomben
    Shorncliffe line: buses from Bowen Hills to Northgate, then trains from Northgate to Shorncliffe

We apologise for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience this afternoon.

Sunshine Coast commuters independently report delays (total) of 45 minutes upon arrival at Landsborough station.
Certainly very grateful that the initial 1.5 then 2 hour delay was avoided on a Friday afternoon.

Outbound buses from Brisbane are delayed due to an earlier accident on the Pacific Motorway northbound near Greenslopes. Passengers can expect delays of up to 30 minutes. Coronation Drive, Toowong (inbound) is also now experiencing heavy traffic congestion.

Due to a signalling failure near Manly, buses are being organised to run in conjunction with a reduced number of train services.

Buses will run in both directions between Manly and Lindum, stopping all stations. Buses have been requested but not yet arrived.

Customers will experience delays, possibly up to 60 minutes.

Queensland Rail technicians are en route to fix the problem.

Queensland Rail technicians have repaired the signal fault at Manly, however delays up to 60 minutes remain in both directions and trains are operating out of timetable order.

Twenty buses are running between Lota and Lindum, stopping all stations, in conjunction with train services.
