Reported service disruptions rail - no longer in use

The 3.23pm Caboolture - Nambour train has experienced a fault and has now ceased its service.

Passengers will continue their trip on the following train and will arrive at Nambour at 5.25pm.

We thank you for your patience.

The Gympielander last week, and now the ICE shuttle.  Once again, the ICE strikes again.

As much as they boast the most comfortable seating of the fleet, it's a good thing they aren't doing much work those days outside of the twice daily Gympielanders and the morning counterpeak and afternoon counterpeak shuttles.

I am not an apologist.  However, I understand there are some platform changes happening. This undoubtedly  complicates a lot of things.

It is good that TL have acknowledged that there is an issue, and it will be sorted. Not more can be expected, so thank you.

I just heard a train go past so perhaps things are getting back to normal.

Must've been some serious "police incident".

Correction:  Buses are running  between Sandgate and Shorncliffe.  That's why I heard the train go past.  This will cause delays as they have to turn back at Sandgate.

Large fire at the timber yard Shorncliffe end of Sandgate station. Overhead was switched off last night due to the proximity of the fire. Trains weren't running past Sandgate this morning till structure in timber yard was deemed safe. No delays from turn backs at Sandgate.

Don't know the details, maybe trespassers etc.

30 minute train delays: Beenleigh and Gold Coast

Delays caused by boomgate damage at Bethania earlier this afternoon is now repaired and both the Beenleigh and Gold Coast trains have resumed.

It is expected a residual delay of up to 30 minutes will occur for passengers as the trains regain full schedule.

Queensland Police and Queensland rail technicians are on site to recify the issue.

Expect some form of disruption on southbound trains through Central. I caught the 6am from Ferny Grove. Currently stuck in the  tunnel between Central and RS for the last 10 minutes due to "a major fault with this train". Nothingon Translink yet.

Just lost the lights, then back on. I didn't realise but with the lights off I can see the back half of the train is still in the platform. Just moved a bit so I think the pushing train might be here now...

I think half the problem is that QR doesn't want to put anything out until they themselves know whats going on. Just got into Park Rd on a GC train that was 6 minutes late after it ran through p8 at Roma St.

And with Airtrain, this GC line is really one of the most, if not the most crucial line of them all. If it had to happen any day, at least it is a Sunday.

I wonder if Minister Emerson or Assistant Minister Minnikin are taking time out of their Sunday routine to involve themselves in this, where appropriate?
