This confusing service disruption advice from TransLink been clarified by Queensland Rail today.

The down service (outbound) that forms the 10.38pm ex Nambour was late so terminated at Palmwoods.

The service ran from Palmwoods to Central.  Alternate transport (taxis) was arranged for pax Nambour to Palmwoods.

Correct advice should have read something like ...

" 10.38pm Nambour to Central train has been cancelled due to a track fault between Nambour and Palmwoods.  Alternate transport arranged "
