Cleveland line trains are suspended between Cleveland and Lindum stations due to an overhead power line issue. Alternative transport is being arranged.Buses will start operating to transport customers at approximately 5.30am.

All Cleveland trains have been suspended for more than four hours as crews work to repair a fallen overhead power line at Manly in Brisbane's east.

According to TransLink, services were suspended at 4.40am on Thursday to allow repair crews to access the area once the power was shut off.

Buses began replacing trains between Cleveland and Lindum stations from about 5.40am.

The situation had not changed by 8.40am and Queensland Rail have asked affected commuters to allow extra travel time, with delays varying from station to station along the line.

Anyone know what the cause of the line down was?

Trains were going via Tennyson Tim.  The buses are for the stations Corinda <> Roma St.
