Improving rail services between Gympie North and Nambour

Good Morning. Does the rail replacement bus service Traveston, Cooran and Pomona stations? Reason I ask is that during a track closure special arrangements for those stations. Thanks. Robert

TransLink have stated previously that it is too difficult for rail replacement bus to service Traveston, Cooran and Pomona in a timely manner.

Hence the special arrangements last track closure. i.e.

" Taxis will take customers travelling from Traveston, Cooran or Pomona stations to Nambour or Gympie to connect with replacement buses. The taxis will run to the weekend train timetable and collect customers at the relevant rail bus stop. "

We've confirmed with Queensland Rail that the replacement bus will service all stations from Gympie North to Nambour station. - Toni

Good morning, yes that is correct. A rail replacement bus departed Gympie North at 5.56am this morning and will stop all stations to Nambour station. This includes Traveston, Cooran and Pomona stations.
