A bit more to the Cleveland Line 'rollingstock issues' than TransLink's service notices tell (surprise!)...the 4.32 Central to Manly train had a 'technical fault' and was cancelled at Buranda. Overheard a passenger from it say they were 'evacuated from the train because it lost its brakes'. 4.39pm Cleveland express was held at Park station briefly and then moved forward to be between Park Road and Buranda stations. 10-15 minutes later we were able to continue on and it was changed to an all stops. The 4.47 Manly train behind also would have been delayed. So a few more services disrupted then just the one mentioned by TransLink....

And this would explain the 'track fault' later in the evening...why can't they just say due to boom gates fault (or similar)
