The 8.28am Central to Shorncliffe train will run express from Bowen Hills to Northgate due to an earlier customer requiring medical assistance.

QR should stop the farce of saying that SC on-time running performance is at 93 per cent, because that hides the diabolical horrible performance level of the Gympie North trains.  Gympie North trains should be monitored separately for on-time performance.  Just like an alcoholic's path to redemption starts by admitting they have a problem, so too must QR admit it has a problem re reliability of services north of Nambour. 

Right now it is saying 'what problem -- we just need to try a little bit harder to get the SC on-time running figure up to 95 per cent'.  Meanwhile, passengers who normally would use the Gympie North train are driving to Nambour or even to Caboolture.

Communities pushing for more frequent train services Nambour-Gympie North are being told they are not warranted due to low patronage numbers!
Wonder why. Doh!

Was an ICE. 156 I believe had the issue. The following Roma street train was delayed and ran express past eagle junction so it could slot into the gap between the Springfield train, the tilt train, the ice unit and the kippa ring train at Roma Street.
