Guard has announced , Due to network technical difficulties, this service will run express from Cannon Hill to Buranda .

The 2.01pm Central - Ipswich train service will run express from Milton - Darra station stopping only at Indooroopilly station due to an operational issue.

Bridge strike on Ipswich line lengthy delays up to 40mins.
The bizarre thing is that the operator at Translink can't contact the QR control centre to know exactly what is going on and what time trains are to arrive. Even the station worker at Milton with a radio and phone couldn't tell us anything. No announcements (automated or manual) were made at Milton station indicating when a train would arrive. It was anyones guess. Then last minute they changed the platform from 2 to 4 and no one knew. So people were just left waiting again.

Translink. What's up with the increase in 'now running express'. Getting very hard to catch the 7:31 Toombul to city train if it keeps bypassing us! That's a sizeable gap in service in peak hour.

22 min gap @ Nundah and Toombul if that service runs express.

We had not received any notification from Queensland Rail in regards to this but I can definitely raise this issue with them. so according to the twitter post they 'were' notified by QR and the facebook post they 'weren't'....even though both responses were posted only a minute apart

There are some serious issues with the consistency, reliability and timeliness of service disruption and alterations reporting. The other day they even stopped reporting them for around 16 hours or so and it was only my questioning of why no reported disruptions did they admit there was an issue with ' tweeting '.

It's more third rate stuff that's now the hallmark of PT in SEQ sadly ...😵
