Ed:  Apparantly IMU hit an object on the track and something amiss with the train as a result.  The Gympi-Lander is cursed!

If we had the shuttles operating it would not be the issue it is at present when one of the two daily services is knocked out of service for what ever reason.  There is no redundancy, and very little rail connectivity north of Nambour at all really.  It is a disgrace in this day and age ...
