Reroute 547 to serve Berrinba Industrial Estate

The 547 is a relatively short route, taking 19-24 minutes end-to-end, depending on the time of day.

Currently, after stopping on Wembley Rd near Forest Way (although the stop is called Faisal Hatia Way for reasons I don't quite understand, it continues along Wembley Rd until Wembley Rd at Lennox Ct. This stop serves Woodridge State School, LCC chambers, LEC. There's not much point stopping along Wembley Rd between these two stops, as it's mostly bushland. However, to the south of Wembley Rd, there's a reasonably-sized industrial estate which is poorly serviced by public transport.

My suggestion is that the 547 be rerouted to serve this industrial estate. I think 4 stops would be good, I've put the route adjustment markers roughly where I think they should be. Note, I cut off the Drewvale section of the route from the image below, as it would not change.

There would also need to be some earlier-morning services, as many industrial areas commence work at 6-7am.

I think this would only add about 3 minutes to the typical journey, and make this route far more useful.

It makes sense to run it through the industrial estate, but even then it's still feels like half a route. I think we could think even bigger with this one.

I'd extend it from Woodridge Station to Springwood Station and make it a BUZ-standard, cross town route linking Springwood, Woodridge and Browns Plains. This would make a good alternative to increasing the frequency on the 550 which, while servicing the same destinations, does meander through suburban Kingston, Loganlea, Waterford West and Marsden on the way.

I'm wondering what the cycling options might be like though this area

I can't answer for the entire area, but from memory Wembley Road has shoulder cycle lanes (including cycle jump lanes at lights) from just past Jacaranda Avenue through to Browns Plains Road, except for a stretch between the carpark entry to the Logan Entertainment Centre and Bardon Road on one side, and outside Woodridge State High School on the other. This doesn't continue to the stretch of Wembley Road between Jacaranda Avenue to Kingston Road though.
