Depending on exactly what is being included, I would say 65-70% of these are QR-caused.  That is ridiculous.

Yes, it is very interesting and illuminating to record what is actually being reported.

Signalling issues and train faults are the major cause of service disruptions.

Clearly many events are beyond the control of the operator, but many are not.

It remains to be seen how well the integration of the ETCS L2 with the existing legacy system will go.

Melbourne appears to have achieved the integration of their CBTC with their existing legacy system.
