This would've been over a decade since the last Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore/Scotlyn Fair stop) to Toowoomba coach service was operated.

The previous Sunshine Coast to Toowoomba coach service was operated by Suncoast Pacific Coaches when the service ceased in the late 2000s.  Prior to Suncoast Pacific, the Toowoomba service was operated by Sunshine Coast Coaches in the 90s and Skennars before them in the 70s and 80s.

:'(  I really hope Palaszczuk, Bailey and the rest of the TMR "leadership" don't see this announcement!

They'll call this Qlympic World Class and that'll be it for linking SEQ.....for the next 60yrs! Particularly, when they point out they plan to run both ONE AM and ONE PM service on Weekdays!

:bna:

SEQ, where our only "fast-track" is in becoming the rail embarrassment of Australia!   :frs:

Don't think the state government will bother on a private company announcement that has minimal to no subsidies.

As previously mentioned, the route isn't new.  It's a Resumption of a route that was cancelled by another private company over a decade ago.

I would have thought there would be more demand for return trips originating in Toowoomba.

Perhaps, but Enterprise Coaches are based in Morayfield, so it makes sense that they don't want to have a route starting ~150km away.
