Update on on-time running performance for Citytrain Queensland Rail Month of December 202012th February 2021
Greetings,
Overall on-time running (otr) is good, but the Caboolture and Sunshine Coast lines otr performance is poor.
The otr graphs for these lines are below.
The otr data is published on or about the 10th each month for the month preceding the last month at
https://www.queenslandrail.com.au/aboutus/ourperformance/service-punctuality-and-reliability. We then do further analysis of the data.
It would be good if this delay in reporting the data could be reduced from around six weeks to two weeks as for other jurisdictions.
All services, including peak and off-peak, are measured as on-time when they arrive within three minutes and 59 seconds of their scheduled time, or 5 minutes and 59 seconds on interurban services viz. Gold Coast, Rosewood and Sunshine Coast.
Target is services > 95% on time.
FMA = force majeure adjusted
CI = customer impact (what passengers actually experience)
CP = combined peaks
