Is it the cancellation season again?

Last night the 5:31pm ex-Central to Mitchelton (starts Roma St) was cancelled. Thankfully this is not the worst service for QR to cancel.

Today the 4:57pm ex-Central (starts Cleveland) to Mitchelton was cancelled. As usual with QR there was no announcement, and no apology at Central. The following train, the 5:03 ex-Central (starts Beenleigh) was late. This resulted in a 30 minute gap in service during the evening peak for passengers who travel to stations between Windsor and Gaythorne as the preceding train runs express to Mitchelton. Yet another reason why there is little benefit of running expresses on the Ferny Grove Line.

So is this just a coincidence? Is the Flu going around QR's drivers again? Or have QR forgotten to employ drivers for the new trains yet again?

I certainly hope we do not see a repeat of the "flu"  ....

I have noticed the odd cancellation but overall seems OK.
Might be worthwhile if anyone notices any cancellations post them here.

I noticed that a Caboolture service was cancelled some time last week around 4.30pm.  Now this can be very problematic!
