Combined Peak OTR summaries
« on: October 26, 2018, 01:17:51 PM »
Updated for December <> January 2018

Note the contractual metric does not reflect the impact of delays due to NGR faults, other train delays due to faults are,  e.g. SMU and IMU.

It is therefore not a correct representation of the overall network performance.  It would be lower if these were included.

Please note that as from 1st January 2019 Queensland Rail has changed the OTR data they are publishing daily. The contractual metric is no longer being published but is now changed to a ' force majeure adjusted ' metric.

" From January 2019, any NGR technical faults which impact Queensland Rail’s on-time running or reliability will not be considered force majeure in the below data. " https://www.queenslandrail.com.au/aboutus/ourperformance/service-punctuality-and-reliability

The new force majeure adjusted metric is the old contractual metric with NGR technical failures which impact on ontime running no longer considered as force majeure.

This gives a much better true representation of performance with only real force majeure events taken into account.
