we need consistency from drivers,operators and translink to get every delay through to the waiting passengers...

Rather concerning yesterday...there was a 3.10 o/b 640 that smoked up heavily just outside of Caboolture....so bus had to be pulled up,everyone kicked off and wait 30mins for next service. Nothing got through to translink so people including the schoolkids usually waiting at the park and ride or anyone waiting at any of the other 35+ stops had no idea their service had been cancelled..

that 5.49 ex redbank 525 is no doubt the 5.46 arriving 526 which means it more than likely isn't delayed due to heavy passenger loading but because of the earlier mech issue....

Whats the go here? Operators are supposedly penalised by translink for bus breakdowns.......so have they avoided a flow-on penalty by reporting the next service delay as 'heavy passenger loading' ??

Going to try to start to pick up the Western delays once more after a spell.

What better to start again with than a classic 522 bumble .. 

[ I am reliably informed that the 522 generates more official complaints than any other western bus route ..  ]

another suspicious switch of reasons on a return run route....

plain as day what they have done...exactly the same as the 525/526 a few weeks back....
The next run has been delayed from the previous mechanical issue....and theres no way that a Goodna bound 522 @ 4.30pm is going to delayed 26 minutes due to passenger loading....it was delayed due to the previous mechanical issue.....it looks as though the 26 minutes has come from [20-mech issue + 6 mins traffic delays or passenger loading]....so they have then decided to use 'heavy passenger loading' as the official cause of the second delay......
So once again......the question needs to be asked why are they not doing what QR do and use 'delayed due to previous mechanical issue'
