I can't comment on passenger loadings. Mechanical issues can happen to any vehicle but maintenance is important, I wouldn't know if they do enough.
Regarding traffic, 522 was last revised 9 Jan. '17. Springfield has expanded massively since then, so I'm sure traffic congestion has increased. No doubt aided by the utter failure to supply a decent bus service.

As you said, that was when the timetable was last "revised". Doesn't necessarily mean any trips were added or timings were changed. All in all, something has to change. And fast.

Ask any westside driver what the biggest irritation is and the main contributor for the route to run late.....9 times out of 10 they will tell you 'too many roundabouts'.
I reckon for any bus driver that needed roundabout training......the 522 would be by far the best route for them to train on.

So how long does this drag on for?? Or does translink not give a sh%t because the majority of people travel during the peak where there is more train frequency so there is less chance of missing a connection??

So adjusting to suit the minority would be simply too much work?
Kind of confirms the theory that if you are in the minority with translink...you are a liability not a benefit.

^ TransLink are well aware of the problems with 522 and other issues out west.

They seem unable to respond or do anything, being subservient to the road toads and lacking real Ministerial representation.

The DDG of TransLink now ignores correspondence, it is as if they hide their heads in the sand,

hoping everything will be alright and those maniacs at RBoT will go away ...

why are the buses never on time I was waiting for 500 due 917am it didnt arrive to 924am so by time it got Goodna station train was pulling out

I waited for 500 bus due 1020am from 1010am until 1123am from brisbane river terrace goodna to go Goodna station I called at 1025am was told it's late called 1040am told it's broken down called 1055am told its 5 mins away called 1104am told bus has disappeared from tracking waited till 1123am bus and driver told me he had no idea what happened to 1018am he just started however that bus was late too and just made 1127am train to go city can you tell me what happened I understand there Lisa. What I will here for you is forward your suggestion about the 500 bus route through to our network planning team so that they can take this into considerations. I also have looked into your case and their is a response back from the bus depot. The GPS reports that the bus 500 was 11 minutes late to the bus stop and they where unable to identify the reason on why this service didn't arrive on time.
