Are service disruptions on the Gold Coast line being reported properly?

Good Morning,

It has come to our attention that there have been service disruptions on the Gold Coast line that have not been reported in the normal manner.  Is this just oversight or an attempt to make things appear better than they actually are ?

In view of this non-reporting how much faith can we have in the reported On Time Running by Queensland Rail?  ( http://www.queenslandrail.com.au/forcustomers/otr/dailyotr & https://railbotforum.org/mbs/index.php?board=73.0 ).

Has this data ever been be verified by external audit?  Or is it just selective reporting?

Enjoy the Games.  The SEQ rail network ( other then the Airport <> Gold Coast line ) has the worst frequency of any rail operator in Australia or New Zealand this weekend.  Even worse than Adelaide!  Oh the shame ...

Last day today.  In what can only be described as a stunning improvement, when one considers the troubles in the BNE <> Varsity Lakes rail corridor leading up to GC2018, no major disruptions.  Well done so far, let's hope this can now be translated into better performance network wide for the future.

A promotional video for The Way It Was - Volume 6, but it has some interesting south coast line footage.

Volume six begins on the original South Coast railway in the 1950s with scenes at Coolangatta then Cab ride footage taken from a 2000 class railmotor as it makes it way to Southport,

showing Yatala & the Logan River Bridge, Staplyton, Ormeau, Pimpama, the Coomera & Coomera station, Oxenford, Ernest Junction station and the tunnel.

Exhilarating footage of a PB15 to Southport filmed from a vehicle on the Pacific Highway is shown before we take a look at driver training trains on the Gold Coast railway prior to its opening to Helensvale.

Then Railmotor 1901 takes a special inspection trip to Varsity Lakes.

Last reported rail service disruption was 4:47 PM - 14 Apr 2018, over 24 hours ago now.

Be excellent if this is a harbinger for the network in the days to come ...

We were all off the mark.  Excellent effort, no major disruptions. 

It does show what can be achieved, albeit everything including the kitchen sink was thrown at the Goldie.  But credit where credit is due.

Well done Queensland Rail.  Keep it going ...
