Designs and layout of the Pomona railway station new platform and path over the tracks, that will be retained, will be revealed to locals by QR at an information day planned for 13 October, starting at 10am.  Expectation is that work will start before the end of the year, after works have finished at Cooran.

Final public consultation on design of Pomona station platform and path to take place this Saturday, the 13th, Pomona Memorial Hall, 10am to 2pm.  Designs will be available for residents to inspect. Meanwhile, Cooran station upgrade proceeding and is about half completed.  Eumundi will be the final project in this station upgrade program north of Nambour, which will see only Traveston station with a temporary/permanent plywood platform. Temporary platforms remain at several stations south of Nambour.
