School transport assistance program for students with a disability in Queensland

I live at Goodna as many are aware.  I often walk past the Goodna Special School as students arrive for another day of education at this wonderful school. The students arrive by buses, some mini-buses some larger. There is obviously a good relationship between the students and the bus drivers.  The students know the drivers and always cheerfully say goodbye as they disembark at the school.  Should these students lose the buses the results will be devastating not only for students, but also the communities.  Road congestion will be worse as a handful of buses will be replaced by hundreds of haphazard cars.  The students will lose their regular and safe transport.
Very unsatisfactory outcome should this change occur.
