Free travel

On Anzac Day, free travel is available on all services for Defence Force personnel and veterans in uniform or wearing service medals.

Family members wearing service medals and children in official Scout, Girl-Guide or military association uniform can also travel free of charge.

I will be in Cairns on ANZAC day. Dawn service and then Spirit Of Queensland back to Brisbane. :lo

Speaking of Defence Force, ( Proud Father Mode ) , My son will be off to Canberra next year to start studying at ADFA to join the RAAF as a pilot. Its taken four and a half years from when he first applied to when he starts next year. There have been a lot of hurdles to jump to get this far.
