In this thread: looking to create/collate discussion of where transit lanes are appropriate in Brisbane.

Reports at time of posting (6:40pm, second day back of uni) from UQ Stalkerspace that Coronation Drive, Sir Fred Schonell Drive and Swann Rd are all carparks.

Maybe Coro doesn't need transit lanes, but what about peak-time for SFSD? Granted, there's less of a need now than a decade ago.

James

Along SFSD alone, or along Gailey Rd/Benson St too right up until Toowong?

If you did SFSD by itself, it really wouldn't achieve much - the bus would get a fast run for about 1km then get stuck in traffic again. When Coro melts down, there really isn't much you can do...
Is it really that hard to run frequent, reliable public transport?

aldonius

You're quite correct - it would have to be to Toowong.

I've never seen that stretch melt down UQ-bound in AM peak though, which is interesting in itself.
