Our 'favourite' soon to be ex-Transport Minister may potentially be the next 'opposition leader', pending a party room ballot.

Mr Emerson's mantra is 'it's Labor's fault' .... it probably is if he becomes LNP leader.

On reflection, Mr Emerson, a head-kicker and political mischief-maker, would make a good Opposition leader.  He is hardly a visionary, collegiate leader.  If the LNP choses Mr Emerson as their leader tomorrow, they will be signalling preparation for a slog in Opposition.

Yo, Mr Emerson would be perfect as opposition leader.  He can blame labor about everything, and do not much at all, same paradigm as last 3 years.

I really doubt that Emerson would get the leadership, outside chance of deputy.  But shell shocked politicians can do odd things.

Lawrence Springborg and John Paul Langbroek would have to be favourites.  Media also suggest Tim Mander has an outside chance.
