As we have suggested for some time, decent fares will lead to increased uptake.
This is the first reported increase following the FU2.

Please oh please sort out the bus issues, which I think are mainly GPS data issues being wrong or too narrow.

Yes pleeeeze, pleeeze sort out the readers on the buses! I received a "phantom" fare charge on my go-card account, it appears when I got off a bus at my stop the reader registered a phantom touch. Then I didn't use my Go for another week, so when I got on the bus on 3rd July it registered a $1.50 fare? Is that a fine for the system registering a double touch when I got off the bus on 26th June? Or is it a fare for touching off/on the bus on 3rd July after a WEEKS worth of "travel"!!? It might feel like a week to get home on a 220 but a journey beginning and ending a week apart is rediculous. This is just another of the glitches that should've been fixed before the introduction in general.

There is no reason that I would have transferred to the SAME bus 15 seconds after I touched off, the terminus is only 5 minutes away! But to touch off a week later at EXACTLY the same moment I was touching on!
