Heading up to Nambour today.  Always a good day out on the Sunny Coast.

Luncheon is planned to be taken at Royal George Hotel Nambour.

The original hotel in this photograph was destroyed by fire.  The 2' gauge tracks are still there, and might yet see a tourist operation.

Yep always crowded. I think it's because the previous service to leave Springfield is 12 minutes earlier but the previous 6 were all 6 minutes apart, as well as being a good school service

Onboard the GympieLander .. midway into a dance at Moolalah .. some punters a little confused .. lol :-)

Last time I drove to Nambour, I was lucky enough to see a Cane Train going through the centre of town. Can't remember how long ago that was. Do remember petrol was still under 100 cpl.

There is a price war on at the moment.  Nambour petrol price $1.29 a litre unleaded yesterday.
