im in a similar situation, i never usually know one day to the next what i am going to be doing, actually most of the time i dont know what im doing anyway! i will probably know the morning of said planned excusrion whether i can make it or not, but it sounds good to me and i hope to make it!

Due to an early morning committment on Saturday I will join the Ippy flyer at either Darra or Goodna, meet up in car 1.

Train is due at Darra at 8.56am, or Goodna 9.05am.  Will just depend if I have enough time to go from Goodna to Darra.

As you depart Ipswich for Rosewood, on the left after the stabling the old branch line to Churchill/Dugandan can be seen.  This is sometimes suggested as the entry point to the western main line for the proposed Ripley railway.

All is fine Corinda out.  Still plan to go ahead tomorrow. The storm effectively missed out here, some rain and wind but not much else.

If inner Ipswich line still out tomorrow I expect Ipswich trains will be via Tennyson.

For anyone inner Ipswich line (Roma St <-> Corinda) allow more time.  There might well be a closure to do more repairs.  See what happens later today.

Goodna must have got the edge as well.......Was at garden city when it hit....seems it only got edge......lucky.....condsidering griffith uni could have been exposed to the full brunt but it wasnt.....
An absolute warzone here at archerfield,salisbury.....marshall rd has significant downed tree damage....

Yo TB, we dodged a bullet or three here.  Followed it closely on radar ....  a couple of very strong wind gusts but nothing like what hit further east/north.
