Understanding pedestrian behaviour at railway crossings

This study is part of a larger project in conjunction with Queensland University of Technology, Queensland Rail and CRC for Rail Innovation.

The project's main aim is to understand pedestrians' use of level crossings, awareness of risks and safety procedures. The outcomes of this project will contribute to improving your daily use of such intersections.

Queensland Rail is actively involved in the project and contributes to the recruitment of participants at major Brisbane train stations and train stations adjacent to level crossings in the larger Queensland area.

You are invited to participate if you have, at some point, been a pedestrian at a railway level crossing.

To recognise your contribution, should you choose to participate, the research team is offering you the chance to win $30 and/or $50 gift vouchers to thank you for your time and assistance.
