So my feedback request with Translink has been closed noting there will be no response to my enquiry.

No explanation as to why the 261 is the only remaining service between Buranda busway station and Stop 108 George St. Sure it is a different operator to the other 25x/26x services that ran that stop-to-stop. No acknowledgment that despite a multi billion UBAT station planned for the Govt precinct, perhaps planners consider restoring a level of service to the area given they can justify a tunnel station. Would it be speculative to conclude the objective is not service delivery, but redevelopment of the precinct?

Looks like a walk up from Elizabeth Street is the next best substitute, or fluke a BCC service into Margaret St for my $40/week fare base contribution.

TransLink (oh what a surprise) did the timetables on the basis that each operator was a separate entity.  It is therefore completely unsurprising to me that the 261 takes a different route to the Transdev services.
