    Dates:Wednesday, 5 June to 11 June 2013
    Venue:RNA Showgrounds
    Start:10:00am
    Finish:6:00pm

Scheduled services

Use the journey planner to find out which scheduled bus, train and ferry services travel to the RNA Showgrounds.
Free loop services

Loop services will depart from Roma Street, Central and Fortitude Valley stations travelling to Exhibition station and return at the following times and days:
Wednesday 5, Thursday 6 and Friday 7 June

    9am til 12pm: approximately every 15 minutes
    12pm til 3pm: approximately every 30 minutes
    3pm til 6.05pm: approximately every 15 minutes.

The last service will depart from the Exhibition at 6.05pm.
Saturday 8, Sunday 9 June and Monday 10 June

    9am til 6.05pm: approximately every 15 minutes.

The last service will depart from the Exhibition station at 6.05pm.
Tuesday 11 June

    9am til 4.05pm: approximately every 30 minutes.

The last service will depart from the Exhibition station at 4.05pm.

NB: If you're travelling using your go card, you can join the Loop Service at Roma Street, Central and Fortitude Valley stations and touch off as normal at the Exhibition station. All other customers will need to detrain at Roma Street, Central and Fortitude Valley stations to receive their free travel pass from the paper ticket gates.
Track closures

    Milton - South Brisbane to Bowen Hills/Albion (Wednesday 5 June, from 10pm)
    Northgate to Gympie North (Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June)
    Bowen Hills to Ferny Grove (Monday 10 June, from 10pm)
    Bowen Hills to Ferny Grove (Tuesday 11 June, from 10pm)

In terms of Exhibition station usage, what a change from a couple of years ago. Big wins for common sense here!

It was stupid that the line wasn't used for anything other than the Ekka until recently.

Pretty sure that was a result of the promoters not wanting to put on the trains/location/recent redevelopment ie Only using the St Paul's Terrace to Gregory Terrace facilities rather than the main arena/train station/ekka ride areas. With the redevelopment they have started using the facilities on the Main arena/new convention centre/train station side which is where this event is being held.
