Capalaba park 'n' ride opening Monday 11 March

On Monday 11 March, the new Capalaba park 'n' ride, located on the corner of Moreton Bay Road and Redland Bay Road will open.

With parking for 204 vehicles and two high-quality bus platforms, the new park 'n' ride will significantly improve access to public transport for people in the Redlands area.

Connecting you to your local bus service

Once open, you will be able to safely park your car at the new park 'n' ride and transfer to any of the below bus services:
Brisbane City peak only services

    251 - Ormiston to Brisbane City via Alexandra Hills
    267 - Alexandra Hills to Brisbane City
    275 - Thornlands to Brisbane City via Cleveland and Capalaba

Routes 251, 267 and 275 to Brisbane City will depart every 5 to 15 minutes from platform 1 from 6am to 8am.
All day cross-town services

    260 - Capalaba to QEII Hospital via Garden City and Griffith University

Services to QEII Hospital and Griffith University via route 260 will operate hourly from platform 1 from 7am to 6pm.
Features of the new park 'n' ride

    parking for 204 vehicles
    four disabled parking bays
    a safe and comfortable waiting environment for passengers with high-quality shelters, seating, security cameras and lighting
    drop-off and pick-up areas for passengers (known as kiss 'n' rides)
    improved access for cyclists and pedestrians, including secure bicycle storage
    bus driver's facilities
    convenient access from Redland Bay Road and new traffic signals on Moreton Bay Road
    attractive landscaping with over 12,000 trees, shrubs and ground covers planted.
