A bus driver was robbed at knife point on the Sunshine Coast on Sunday night.

The driver was approached by two male passengers as the bus pulled into a stop at Bli Bli, north of Brisbane, about 8.15pm.

The men, believed to be in their late teens, threatened the driver with a knife and demanded cash.

The pair made away with a box containing a sum of cash and were last seen on Waigani Street.
