As a Sunshine Coast commuter advocate, I have been trying to gather information on the on-time performance of Queensland Rail train services - but on a line by line breakdown basis, so that train lines showing regular deficiencies can be identified & those issues addressed or plans made to alleviate the issues by e.g. rail duplication. Currently these statistics are only publicly available on a network wide basis & limited to peak hour times, this has the effect of hiding the location of regular rail problems from the public, who need their confidence restored in the rail network given a number of major incidences. Further, events considered force majeure or 'acts of God' statistics are not provided whatsoever, & these need to be included to give a comprehensive overview of other factors that impact rail services (as was seen last week with the train/truck collision at Banyo). As a Sunshine Coast commuter who has been keeping my own daily detailed records of Sunshine Coast/Caboolture line performances for over a year, to identify such deficiencies, this type of move by the Premier is welcomed. I look forward to seeing this spirit of openness in action on our passenger rail network.

Regards,

Fraser must be blackballed. His comments foul up every article on every Brisbane website. True trolling. We got the message once, yet he spews it 1000 times.
