Stage 1 Route Map

Finally getting a bus back into the middle of Goodna (just so happens close by my residence  :P ) the new 520 Goodna Station - Eden's Village.

These improvements are very much in line with what ICC, supported by RBoT, have advocated for.  :2thumbs:

The new Redbank Springfield (!) and Ipswich Springfield look like a ripper and if they are at least 30 min frequency could provide an interlined service between Springfield Central and Redbank Plains plaza.

A couple of the other routes could be cleaned up a bit now there are additional backup routes, eg delete all the doglegs in 526 and 524

The 524 changing according to the map.  Finally a bus will be going into Bellbird Park, the western leg of the 524 allows bus access to the western parts of Goodna.  It is fine.

The 520 (new) will be leaving Goodna Station, along Smith Rd, into William St, left into Alice St, then right into Queen St (route 61) thence to Town Square Redbank Plains.  This is excellent as it means a bus route is back in the middle of Goodna.

The 525 will be very welcome as well, provides an easy connection from Goodna to Redbank Plaza.

I went down before and told a couple of locals about the changes coming.  They were very pleased.

Overall this is really good. Just hope gets implemented sooner than later.

Very positive, as are the Logan changes.

I still think the 527 is trying to do too many things and it should be 2 separate routes as it once was (but that is out of scope of what is being done here it seems).

Bus service cancellations continue out west (and elsewhere).

The 524 is a key feeder service ...   :woz:

^seems odd they can cancel two outbound services, without the corresponding inbound ones being affected.

^ probably missed being reported.

There were a number of bus service cancellations out west yesterday.  It really is very disappointing.
