Queensland Parliament
Question on Notice

On Wednesday 14th May, 2008 the following Question on Notice was put to the Hon. John Mickel MP,
Member for Logan and Minister for Transport, Trade, Employment and Industrial Relations
by the Hon. Peter Wellington MP, Member for Nicklin, in the Queensland Parliament.

The question was put to the Minister on behalf of the 'Say No to GoCard' committee.
We continue to "Say No to GoCard until Fares are Fair."
We would like to publicly thank the Hon. Peter Wellington MP, for his ongoing support.

MR WELLINGTON ASKED THE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT, TRADE, EMPLOYMENT AND INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS (MR MICKEL)? With respect to the Minister?s answer to my question asked on 13 March 2008 in relation to the price paid for weekly and monthly railway paper tickets?

(1) What are the criteria to be used by the Government when it next investigates if there needs to be a change to the current price paid for weekly and monthly railway paper tickets?

(2) When will the next review occur?

The Hon. Member for Logan's answer will be published in Queensland's Hansard.
We look forward to his appropriate reply on this issue. Due Friday 13th June, 2008.
