Compare that to 19113 inbound boardings on the Caboolture line (Including Albion-Northgate).  Around 15% aren't going the whole distance.

Compare that against 16455 inbound boardings on the Ipswich, Richlands and Rosewood lines.  A tad over 20% aren't going the entire way!

The point:  Counter peak deserves more than the current miserable 4tph to Northgate/Darra and 2tph to Ipswich/Caboolture, stopping all stations in the latter case.  Unfortunately, the statistics do not include what is happening in the reverse direction.  They do infer what might happen with improved serivces.

The current network is purely peak flow based. The higher than off-peak frequency for counter-peak services is mostly based on the need to move the former peak flow trains somewhere.

Agree that they are probably not getting the best deal, but other lines where there is single track is worse.
It doesn't actually happen that there is higher than off peak revenue services for counter peak, except to Yeerongpilly.  The actuality is that there are larger than off peak service gaps for counter peak.
