Car registration freeze

I checked out the car registration freeze that the LNP promised during the election. It has been confirmed in the link below:

There is one problem, one that I long suspected. The freeze excludes mopeds (scooters) and motorcycles, which are more efficient than cars. Even the questions and answers on that link highlight the absurdity. A single person in a single occupant car gets the freeze, yet a couple or family on a motorcycle or motorcycle-sidecar combo doesn't. It's another car-biased policy.

On the upside, with the CPI at only 1.3%, the freeze this year had a very small impact. Barely worth freezing really. Next year and the year after may be more significant, but then again, it's only CPI!
