I'm holding my vote until the end of this week.
A week is a long time in politics.

Indeed it is. Will we see any policy initiatives from the ALP other than 'status quo' ?

Unless stated otherwise, Opinions stated in my posts are those of my own view only.

Has the lack of detail in their policy been the downfall for The Greens?

If they are not getting votes on a public transport forum then they need to work on their policies.

aldonius

Greens have a reasonably detailed policy, it's just hard to find on the web site... they have a 'glossy' piece accessible on the front page and the useful stuff is buried ::)

Mr X

I have always liked how detailed the Greens policies are, only issue is that 95% of the time it's pure foam or organisational fluff that doesn't really solve anything.

Labor is dead politically and is bereft of decency if it continues to run the Campbell Newman 'spider web' ads after the CMC has said it has looked into the issues raised and does not intend pursuing the matters Labor has highlighted.

The Courier-Mail's Des Houghton states, correctly, that Labor has engaged in a concerted campaign of mud-slinging to divert attention from its performance in government.

Continuation of the mid-slinging this week will be plain sour grapes at the prospect of Labor losing government after 20 years.

The LNP must now switch focus from Opposition to present itself as a 'government in waiting'.  That includes revealing a coherent and coordinated transport policy.

Mr X

I have only seen one ad from the ALP that was positive and it was right back at the beginning of the campaign, and all it did was capitalise on Anna's work during the floods and how many schools/roads had been repaired. Newman did a lot of work during the floods too as Lord Mayor, and also after the big storm in The Gap back in 2008. How can they expect QLDers to reelect them when all they have done is attack Campbell Newman on having connections to business, something that has been cleared by the CMC this past week.

Merivale Bridge-Milton junction.

Doesn't look like anywhere in Brisbane to BrizCommuter.
Agreed.  You never know though.

Has the LNP fare policy announcement had an effect?
Yes.  Also the possibility of Ashgrove keeping Kate Jones helps the LNP.

Purely random, a double double slip,  sort of highlights the situation moving forwards don't you think? LOL
