I also assume that using Skyring Tce rather than Ann St/Wickham St and Commercial Rd is a no brainer.

I don't agree with what they have done here, but people seem to get emotional about this one.

I know I originally suggested Skyring Tce in the other thread, but I don't think it's a good idea (for now) because there's basically nothing on it but construction sites.  When there's a few shops/offices/apartments there I think it would be good to change the route.

I also think the 393 should be re-extended to Roma St (assuming there's somewhere it can turn around there, although I'm thinking KGSBS would be more likely).  It will provide additional capacity RS-QUT KG.

15 minute daytime frequency would also be good.

And also some night & weekend services, even if only every 30 min.

To me, the 393 (if extended) would be an ideal way for people living in Hamilton/Bulimba/Hawthorne (via CityCat to Tenerrife) to access RBWH/QUT KG without enduring the carparks that are KSD & Lytton Rd.

Should be 12 minute if that is what the ferry runs at.

Really?  They should get rid of the deviation just because there is no reason for it, other than the fact that the 393 was planned when Skyring Tce wasn't there.

Ferry frequency varies seemingly randomly throughout the day at 10, 12, 13, 14 and 15 minutes.

SurfRail

It doesn't really need to have a dedicated connection to the ferry - the wait time is minimal, and when you include the Citycats it is negligible.

SurfRail is correct.  393 is not only to connect with cross-river ferry but also up & down river CityCats.  I think every 15 minutes would be good, maybe every 10 in peak if demand grows to warrant it.

Extending to QUT KG or RS would certainly be a way to increase demand.  However where can they turn around?  As I see it only Normanby or King George Sq, and KGS has nowhere to layover.

My off the wall suggestion is to exit the busway at Turbot St, cross the Captain Cook Bridge and terminate at Woolloongabba, which removes the 66's function of connecting W'Gabba and Roma St.

I think knocking this back to RBH is the step immediately before removing it.

That is exactly what I have been thinking,
Cut it then scrap it with the figures to say it wasn't being used!

There are a few options besides my off the wall one:
- Run blank to the KGS turn around
- Run to Herschel St stop 1 as used to happen before King George Square opened.  It's a slightly longer trip now, but not the end of the world.
- Run to a QSBS stop and back through King George Square
- Run to the Hope St layover in/out of service
- Run to W'Gabba via South Bank
- pick something else.

The only real option I can't abide is decreeing it too hard.
