Hi, This is my first post. I didn't see others raise this issue, so perhaps its just me, but I believe its a genuine issue all the same.

I commute from Caboolture to Central every day. I live near Maroochydore so drive down the Bruce Highway and follow the signs to the car park on the Eastern side of Caboolture station.
I walk up, over the bridge and down onto platform 2. I buy a monthly ticket so rarely have to visit the ticket office. I then catch the express train to Central.
At Central, I take the subway out to Anzac square and on to Adelaide Street.
In the evening, I do the same, but in reverse.

I was unaware that the timetable changes earlier this month. There were no signs at Caboolture. Perhaps there were some at the ticket office but I have no reason to go there due to my use of the car park and purchase of a monthly ticket.
There were no signs on the trains.
There were no signs on the platforms at Central and no signs in the subway out to Anzac square.

Not being a resident of Brisbane, I don't read the local papers and I saw nothing in my local paper, the Sunshine Coast daily.

There's been plenty of marketing of the Go Card (which I used briefly but have since abandoned thanks to the rubbish topup machines and higher costs) but I saw nothing at all about the massive overhaul of the timetables.

A work colleague has since told me that they were giving out timetables in the upstairs section of Central (near McDonalds) but as I never need to go up there I didn't see anything.

I'd like QR (or whoever was responsible for the advertising of these changes) to improve the way they advertise timetable changes. Every station entrance & exit should contain a poster, as should each carriage of every train.

Welcome Suncoastcommuter!

Thanks for your comments.  I am sure they will be noted.

The next timetable changes are due for September 2008 we understand.
