Problems with lack of onboard toilets Sunshine Coast services

I have heard that there are a number of trains running on the Nambour services without toilets. This is probably due to the problems with train fleet availability.

Queensland Rail have indicated in the past that where there are not on board toilets comfort stops will be made usually at Caboolture. This has not always occurred, and at least one case, pax who went to the toilet on a comfort stop were left behind.

Half baked projects, have long term consequences ...

^ Yep. I was on a train without a toilet recently ... had to cross my legs until Nambour.

Yes, even Gold Coast is not immune to the 3-car circus going on. As reported previously, 3-car and 6-car SMUs has been common on both Nambour and Varsity Lakes in the past few months due to the maintenance backlog and ongoing NGR upgrades.  ATM the only guaranteed toilet runs up north are the scheduled NGR runs (or the Gympie North runs which are generally IMUs).
