Interesting idea. Im sure the folk over @ the queensport hotel will like it :co3 Ive seen my share of workers driving home drunk after work. Hemmant numbers could be an issue though but nice suggestion :-t

Griffith Uni Nathan Campus to ANYWHERE!

Translink services to GU Nathan Campus are so poor that the university has to run its own (free/non-Translink) shuttle bus between the Nathan and Mt Gravatt campuses via the Griffith University Busway Station every 15 mins (during semester) and every 30 mins during semester-breaks!  Why should the uni have to subsidise Translink like this?

With 5 minutes services to UQ from the city in the morning, and 5 min services to the city from UQ in the afternoon, Griffith Uni is the poor cousin with Translink services linking the busway with the Nathan campus as much as 30 mins apart!  At peak hour in the morning I've waited for up to 30 mins to get a bus to the campus.

My suggestion is that Route 88 should link Indooroopilly with GU Nathan rather than 8 Mile Plains.  There are more than enough services to 8 Mile Plains that someone going out on an 88 from Indooroopilly could easily change along the busway somewhere and wait no more than a few minutes wait for the next bus.

A Long shot but what the heck.

The gap to indooroopilly via payne rd,dillon rd gap creek rd,kenmore. Peak Hour Only

#Metro

The only new service I can think of is West End to New Farm - boundary street to James Street. And that's not really a priority.
No, instead of new routes to add to the legacy pile, turn on the chainsaw and start sawing through the network.
Negative people... have a problem for every solution. Posts are commentary and are not necessarily endorsed by RAIL Back on Track or its members.

A new short route from Ferny Grove Station to The Gap, via the Great Western Shopping Centre. I would love for it to be timed to meet every 385/FG train (when they go to 4tph) but realistically that high a frequency probably isn't justified. There does need to be a much better link than the 362 though, as well as more direct. I'd also drop the 367 off-peak loop and just get it to interchange/be an extention from FG.
There is no silver bullet... but there is silver buckshot.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

BUZ the 135, but not on the current route!  Either it's terminated within Sunnybank, or if it continues to Algester, it should serve somewhere that the 130 doesn't south of Beaudesert Rd, like Algester Rd between the Ridgewood Rd intersections.  This upgrade is more urgent than many other proposed BUZifications, even the 103 extension.

I also wonder why the 155 runs to the CBD?  Shouldn't it terminate at GU?
