Sunshine Coast Bus Services now running on Mon-Fri Schedule

Hello All,

Sunshine Coast No. 605 and 615 bus users, some good news.

I received a call from a regular bus user who has been in contact with Skye from Sunbus.

He was told that the 605 and 615 bus services from Landsborough station were now running on a Monday to Friday schedule (not a Saturday schedule) during the week.
This is of course good news and a sensible approach as the Saturday timetable would not meet the weekday scheduled train services.

There is no information about this on the TransLink website thus far, and Translink who I'm told were contacted about this matter, did not know anything about it !
Does anyone actually talk to each other these days ?

As far as the whole situation goes, the only word that comes to mind at the moment is ABYSMAL, and another 'world class' effort ...

Sunshine Coast Sunbus services update

Passengers are advised that until such time as the industrial action ceases, Sunshine Coast customers will have access to limited services:
•Routes 605, 615, 630 & 631 will be operating to their normal weekday and Saturday timetables to maintain the bus/rail connections
•A Saturday timetable will be delivered Monday to Friday for all other Sunbus routes.
• However, on Friday 19 August, services will be unavailable until after 9am.
•A Sunday timetable will be delivered on Saturdays for most Sunbus routes.
•A reduced timetable will be delivered on Sundays.*
