Hi could someone help me out with the required height for overpasses if a bus is to go under it?

I'm interested in minimum height for buses only (and the tow trucks that pull buses).

Signs above the drivers heads say 3.3m for a 12.5m bus, 3.5m for a 14.5m bus.  Not sure about a bendy, but its probably about the same as a 14.5m.

Double deck is 4.4m IIRC.

Cheers. I should have written 'somebody' in my post not someone hey :)

If you have access to SAI Global (I'm a UQ student, and we get access to it through the Library) you could try searching some of the Australian standards. We had to use AS2890 which is to do with offstreet carparking, but has a section on height clearances for vehicles and has some standard dimensions. Its not overpasses, but I figure height clearances are height clearances.
There is no silver bullet... but there is silver buckshot.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Thanks Golli I no longer have off campus access, but I think the public can still go in and access on site. I'll keep it in mind. Cheers.
