Sad how holiday rail adventures are withering away ... more and more forced onto the road gauntlet of death and injury, congestion and chaos.

The weekend has started well in Qld, NSW and Victoria - roads are a big mess in all the eastern states.

Big works at Lawnton though, even freight isn't getting through it seems. Except for between 1am & 7am Monday.

They've been playing with the Todd's Rd crossing at Lawnton where there is a new hut on the Super Amart side.
