Qld should AT LEAST match this - even more, better it, our fares are a shocker compared.

But SteelPan, The money being spent on fare cuts could have actually gone towards higher frequency services.

Obviously, the new NSW govt is honest enough to stand by its pledge to reduce overpriced train fares.  Additional services is another matter.

I would in fact say that everything but train fares is overpriced in Sydney.  At least they have the decency to toss a few rotten apples for free.

You should be walking one station distance.

You should be walking one station distance.
a) Why
b) are you then saying that ($3.20) is a fair price for whatever the minimum distance you believe that it is acceptable not to walk.

Where'd $3.20 come from.

But yes, I think by 2014, $3.24 will be a bit steep for a 1 station off peak go card journey.
