While the 102 does provide a service to Douglas St and Azalea St, the 466 isn't that far away from the latter, and the 103 is near the former as well as some of the latter.

I say 100, 101, 103, 466 provide an adequate radial service to the Inala area, or at least would with higher frequencies,

Although the 101 needs to be cut back to Oxley rather than double serving rail, also at Corinda.

Which out of the three stations is the closest to Inala?

Darra could be marginally closer, but by road it would be about equal.  You more or less have to pass Oxley to reach Corinda.

The Blunder Rd service of the 101 is definitely closest to Oxley.

I agree on cutting back to Oxley. There is no need both services to continue to Corinda anymore now that the 15 minute frequency has been extended to Oxley. I still believe there is some justification for one of the 101 or 102 to continue o Corinda, just not both.

However, scrapping the 102 may be quite controversial. It is more of a community bus, rather than a feeder service, so many people may use it to go from a local street in Inala to the shopping centre. Personally, I wouldn't touch it, unless patronage doesn't justify the service (from what I've seen, patronage is much greater than some of those services that were chopped in Ipswich).

Part of this duplication no doubt has to do with logistics.

The 101, 102, 103 and 122 are operated by South West Transit, a division of Hornibrook, using leased buses from BT, whereas the newer Richlands station routes are BT only.  This operation really should be folded back into BT to get some efficiencies going.

The whole network needs to be redesigned - perhaps BUZ the 100 and 460 and terminate both at Richlands (you can then link the rosters together if needed), discontinue the 462 south of Richlands, can the P461 entirely, and ramp up local feeders in preference to infrequent services that do big loops of Inala and nothing else.

I think the 460 has to go.  Although that needs to be included in a larger review of the Mt Ommaney (aka Centenary) region bus services.

What???  :-w that would be the stupidest thing to do alot of locals use the 102 on the weekends to visit friends or go out to the City or go shopping. I use the 102 I don't want it scraped  :pr. What I would sugguest to some of you actually go out on a weekday or weekend and travel on these routes and watch how many people use these Services.

Well this Route (102) has now a Standing Load of Passengers on a Service in the AM Peak. (Mon.Fri)
So scrapping this Route will not be required in the current future.

Leave the Route 100 as a "City Express" Forest Lake/Inala to the City not extending to Richlands Rail Station.
Leave the Routes 460,P461 as is.
