Our question too hard for local MP's

$1b fails to halt sad toll on highway

We must continue to campaign to highlight that continual expansion of the freeways and highways is not going to reduce the toll. More people on the roads only means more people driving and likely to be in an accident.

The LNP has no transport policy.  The most recent formal public statement says they will have a Sunshine Coast transport policy AFTER the election is held next year.  In other words, they will not go to the election with a Sunny Coast specific policy, hence the vagueness of the responses to the Maroochy Journal.  In contrast, the LNP says it will have a Queensland transport policy to take to the election.  Given that time is running out, this will be little more than nice words like 'the LNP supports a sustainable future' -- no different to the current crowd.

No way is that photo taken between Brisbane and Noosa as the article implies.

Perhaps the issue on the Bruce is between Cooroy and Gympie.
