Misinformation policy on Go Card increased costs?

We have received advice that ticket sellers have been told that they are not allowed to advise people about the high cost of go card compared to weekly and monthly tickets.  I appears that some of them have done this and they have now been told they are not to do it.

If this is an accurate report, and I believe it is, it is an outrage!  Clearly desperate days to support a failed fare structure.

Another thing to consider too is that no where is there any real cost comparison of Go Card travel versus weekly ticketing costs and so forth on Translink web site. (see http://backontrack.org/mbs/index.php?topic=431.0 for the costs )
