Parts of the rail network in central Queensland remain closed or under speed restrictions after flooding earlier this year.

Rail lines at Wycarbah near Rockhampton are still under going repairs and it is estimated the disruptions will reduce the coal haulage on the network by more than a million tonnes of coal this financial year.
Queensland Rail's Jeffery Featherstone says a washed out bridge at Grass Tree Creek, west of Emerald, has yet to be repaired and freight and passenger services are affected.

"Although freight is now being trucked through with our Qlink operations and passengers are being bussed through that area, most of the impact is in the coal line at the moment, but the area west of Emerald are being dealt with with trucks and busses," Mr Featherstone said.
