"put another platform in at Gailes (formerly Dingo Hill ... )"

Never fear, the election boiler and firebox are being prepared for ignition.

As has been the case for the 'Cleveland Non-Solution', the 'Maroon City Slider'  any transport twaddle put forward by any party/candidate will burn fiercely, only that fire-proofed in rigor, sense and truth will survive.  Neither of the main stream parties seems capable of any objective analysis, let alone challenging tripe dished up by the other side for dinner.

Queensland is in a diabolical state.  A very weak and disjointed opposition, as much as a weak government has contributed to this outcome.
Half baked projects, have long term consequences ...

QuoteBuz the 314 !!!
TBH, I can sort of live with stuff like the 314. Obviously its not a legit transit service, just something that is 100% social.
Still, dunno why BT needs to run it. Council cabs would surely achieve the same.

314 is like Sydney's 341, which carried 7 people in May 2011, running twice per weekday in each direction.

Well, you have to give them credit for not making Sydneys 341 Circuitous.

Mr X

Extend route 314 to Cabulcha via Mango Hill!

Omgoshish!
Just thought of the most like, awesomeness purpose for 314!
Get this right, we have a shortage of trains yeah? The solution is soooo simple like OMG why didn't we think of it before?!?
Simply rename the Shorncliffe line to the Deagon line and terminate all trains at Deagon. Pax can then transfer to the 314 connecting to Sandgate and Shorncliffe stations.

Missed the 314? Oh shucky poo, you might have to wait for the next service.. err.. tomorrow :p

Actually a 314 BUZ maglev from Shorncliffe to Sandgate to Deagon to Cabulcha express via Mango Hill would work well! Simply send it via the Deagon Deviation into Redcliffe and it can stop where the Kippa Ring train station will be in 2050 then go to Mango Hill then run express on the motorway to Cabulcha!!

Here is the 314 crossing the Caboolture river:

And arriving in the terminus:

Are the 311, 312 and 313 are simply not fit to be spoken of in polite company, or is mocking them too easy?
